Great Northern Brewing Co.

Taking a beer that didn’t exist to number one in the country.

Great Northern Hospitality

With Great Northern Brewing Co, we wanted to celebrate the power of the outdoors to bring out the best in people.
Out there, mates help mates, strangers become friends, and hospitality isn’t a service, it’s a mindset.
We called it Great Northern Hospitality.

It Feels Good Out Here

You don’t need a spa robe, detox juice or $400 face treatment to feel good. You just need to get outside. For Great Northern, we flipped the idea of “wellness” on its head and showed that the great outdoors has been doing it better all along. Simple, honest, uplifting. Just like the beer itself.

Long Way For a Beer

After years of building Great Northern as the beer for the great outdoors through traditional TV and OOH,
we asked a simple question: what if the brand made its own show?
The answer became Long Way for a Beer: A stripped-back adventure-meets-interview series filmed
in Far North Queensland and housed on YouTube.

No studio. No scripts. Just iconic Australians heading into the wild, swapping stories by the fire, and going
the extra mile for a cold beer. Because when the wilderness is your stage, the conversations are real,
the journey matters, and Great Northern tastes like the place it comes from.

The Zero G Network

Great Northern is the beer for the great outdoors. As technology spreads further into remote areas, we set out to protect what makes being out there special - switching off. So we launched The Zero G Network: an initiative calling for digital-free national parks. It sparked national media coverage and even saw Tourism Tasmania adopt “Zero G” as a selling point for its most remote regions.
